Congratulations to Robert Morris Elementary!
Nomination category: Exemplary Achievement Gap Closing Schools

"The District learned today that Robert Morris Elementary School is one of 349 schools in the Nation and one of 19 schools in the State of Pennsylvania to be named a National Blue Ribbon School.

The school is named Exemplary for Closing the Achievement Gap, which means it made significant improvements in closing the achievement gap among student subgroups.

This is a major accomplishment and takes team work, engagement and hard work to achieve. Congratulations to Principal, Mr. Michael Coleman, who serve as an outstanding Instructional Leader, the committed and talented teachers who work hard everyday to meet the needs of all students, the dedicated support staff and engaged and interested Robert Morris parents and community."
