Dear Community Member:

Welcome to the John Marshall Elementary Web Site!  John Marshall Elementary is located in West Scranton on Oram Street.  Our school is recognized throughout the city as one where teachers and students, along with parents and the community work together for the education of all children.  Our standards are high and we continually strive to prepare our children to be citizens of the world.  Our grades encompass pre-school to fifth grade with full day kindergarten and two after school programs. Our population is over 400 students.

The collaboration of parents and teachers is the driving force behind our high academics.  Our PTA, one of the most active in the city, is always visible and works hand-in-hand with the teachers and the para-professionals to ensure that each child reaches his or her full potential.

We are a family at John Marshall, looking after and caring for each other.  Our staff continually sets high goals allowing us to far exceed any required standards.  We welcome a visit to our school so you can see for yourself all the good things taking place. Your child could not be in a better place!
