Dear Parents,

     All of our 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade students will be participating in the Pennsylvania System of School Assessments (PSSA) March 14th thru March 25th.  The Mathematics and Reading Assessments are designed to provide information about the quality of Pennsylvania schools to parents, school districts, and the general public.

     Students will be given plently of time to complete their tests.  Attendance is extremely important.  Testing will begin early in the morning.  A good night of sleep, a nourishing breakfast, and arriving on time to school will assure your child of a smooth start to his/her day.

     Results of the tests will be sent to the school districts for distribution to parents, teachers, and building administrators near the end of the school year.  School districts will publish the results of each grade level assessment for each school in the districts.
